Read the signals
Bring observations, not just a dashboard code
Note which warning is illuminated, whether it flashes, and what changed in how the vehicle starts, idles, accelerates, or shifts. Include when the symptom occurs and any recent repairs or battery disconnection. A scan result can narrow the investigation, but by itself it does not prove a particular component has failed.
MRA can discuss diagnostic findings and possible next steps before repair decisions. Some faults require extended testing, specialized equipment, or a setting beyond the agreed mobile visit; the diagnostic scope and any further work are discussed rather than assumed.

Agree on the test and next step
- Describe the fault. Send the vehicle year, make, model, warning messages, and symptom history.
- Check mobile suitability. Confirm the location is safe to work at and ask about travel, appointment availability, and diagnostic scope.
- Discuss results. Review what the testing indicates and get approval for any separately quoted repair work.
